Sampling the beauty of poetry
Poets' pictures
Cathryn A. Sheeran
I was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1986. I've been writing since I was seven in diaries and journals and began to write some poetry at the age of thirteen. I became serious about writing poetry in 2007. I'm inspired by modern poets such as Len Roberts, Jewel Kilcher and, of course, Charles Bukowski.
individuality
Individuality (pen name) has been writing poetry for over twenty years. He is a Manchester born poet, who has dedicated his life to exploration and composition of poetry. His work reflects the many great influential experiences of his life, the pain, the pleasure combined to create new exciting poetry. With his books he uses his own artwork as covers.
Michael J. Donnelly
American, born and raised in the Midwest, Iowa to be exact, I Lived a hard life growing-up, we had little but always managed somehow, so I had to make-do with what I had. I developed a flare for all things imagined and artistic writing being one of those.
Now much older, wiser, thick skinned but not thick headed, (although my wife would argue that point) I yet very much enjoy the arts; painting, sketching, sculpture, photography and yes, ‘poetry’ the language of the elated and sorrowful, the conveying of dreams, the lover’s declaration and lament.
My soul unites with many… and varied songs we sing.

Nicolette M. van der Walt
The truly creative mind in any field is no more than this: a human creature born abnormally, inhumanly sensitive. To him, a touch is a blow, a sound is a noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover, a lover is a god, and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism the overpowering necessity to create, create, create - so that without the creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning, his very breath is cut off from him. He must create, must pour out creation. By some strange, unknown, inward urgency he is not really alive unless he is creating.
Richard Kurtz, aka Kaibab
I am a nature-loving cowboy living in the rocky mountains of Colorado. My verse has its roots in the sound and the season of earth-born awe. I love my guitar (I am also a songwriter)...and horses.
I am 61 years young, and started writing at age thirty. I was going through a bad time, and there came a rainy day when I looked into the heavens and asked for help.
The rain stopped in the sky, and a sense of peace grew from deep within. A few days later words started to flow, and they haven't stopped.
